We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right.

Vicente Guerrero, Baja, Mexico

Preschool students dressed for the parade Vicente Guerrero is a rural agricultural town located about four and a half hours south of the U.S. Border and only a few kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. This is also the home of our Hero Holiday International Office.

Accommodations for participants vary depending on the group size and time of year. Some groups stay at Posada Don Diego’s, an RV park/campground while other stay in a hospitality home/dorm style setting.

Our main project is building homes for families. When participants show up the first day there is a concrete pad already poured and ready to go. By the time each group leaves to go home they will have completely finished and furnished a house. Other activities may include climbing and old volcano, clamming on the beach, surf fishing, surfing and boogie boarding.

Thailand

Thai GirlHave you ever dreamed of making a difference in the life of a child who just needs to be loved? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a part of a community that is focused on making their world safe and secure for the kids who they are now responsible for? Would you love to put some sweat into building something tangible that can change a community?

Once again, Hero Holiday is returning to Northern Thailand for an unforgettable and life-changing opportunity! Our Thailand trip will be focused on children at risk, and in making their world a safer and more beautiful place! We are going to be returning to projects along the northern border of Thailand and Myanmar, where exploitation and trafficking are rampant, and the need is great. We believe that in some small way, we can truly make a difference by investing our time and love into some amazing children who need people like you to come and make a difference!
