Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, with 80% of the population living below the poverty line, and 51% of the population unable to read or write. Haiti’s history is a long story of pain and exploitation, full of heroes and villains. While on this trip, you will be learning about how poverty affects a nation at every level and how we can be a part of the solution. You will come to Haiti ready to help out and touch lives, and your life will leave changed by the lives and stories that will become a part of your own reality. Please note that you must 18 years or older to attend this trip.
