Today was a special day, full of hugs, tears and life long friendships. Today we were able to officially give the keys over to the family we built this house for.
In a nut shell - a house dedication consists of us all gather in a group, the folks from Canada having an opportunity to say something encouraging to the family we built for; a chance to the family to respond; then many hugs and pictures. During this time the dad of the family we were building for broke out of his uncontrollable crying into a song of thanksgiving to us. It was one of those “you had to be there moments” for sure.
