I only heard of it two days ago when Absolute came to our school. I'm sixteen and don't have many plans yet for after high school, but learning about Hero Holiday program has inspired me as something I'd absolutely love to take part in, before going on to university. Thank you, all Heros, for the beautiful work you do to create compassion in a world that needs it. I remember sitting in debriefing that night discussing what had happened and for the most part we were all speachless and trying to hold back the tears. I have recounted the story of the little boy and how he affected me countless time since I returned to Canada and I am so glad to know that he now has a name and a sense of pride in that.
