    Hi Heather/Cathy/Every Hero!

What a relief to hear that you all made it there safely! I left messages all over Absolute… with no return. Heather… there was nothing on the homepage that you left me… to lead me to this blog… I finally called the hotel this am and they told me you had all just arrived… go figure… only a day late… not real big on english there huh! LOL! However… with Cathy’s help… here I am now!!! Thanks Cathy!

Heather… the entire team was lifted up in prayer at church this am… they are so proud of you and all the kids involved! All the summer ministries from our church were commissioned this am… the Toronto Mission Tour, DVBS, Camping staffers… and so on… Pastor John told everyone that I had confirmation that you were there safely… and that you would have been a part of this summers commissioning this am… except you were already hard at work!

Miss you a lot Heather… but very much at peace that you are doing God’s work there! Lady E. Bug says “woof” (aka “hi”)… she is really minding the quiet around here with you gone! See you in 14days!

    Much love
    Mum (Cheryl)

    Greetings Heather from Nova Scotia.
Peter and I are wishing you well in the DR and know that you will do well, work hard and benefit from the experience as in the past. I know the local folks depend on groups such as yours to benefit their standard of living. God’s blessings to you and your group, and enjoy the sun, warm weather, water and try to get a few minutes of R&R.

Hi Heather: Just wondering how you are doing and letting you know that we get the news from your mum. Hope you are all in one piece and not too many blisters on hands or feet. I just know that you are enjoying your life experience, and meeting new people. Hope your health is holding with all the hard work.
    We are thinking about you.
    God Bless

Heather: Please be careful when you go into Haiti with the Medical Team to assist with the Clinic for the day. We will be waiting to hear how it all went.
    Good luck and safe trip
